Golf in the United Arab Emirates

All golf courses in the UAE have architecturally unique club houses with restaurants and pro-shops, driving range and putting greens. They can be booked prior to your departure at our significantly discounted green fees, which we can offer you as a IAGTO (International Association of Golf Tour Operators) member.

Emirates Golf Club

Emirates Golf Club is located just 5 minutes drive from the hotels at Jumeirah beach, and offers you two great PGA courses: the Majlis Course and the Wadi Course. Emirates Golf Club also offers the Peter Cowen Golf Academy, an excellent academy for beginners and the advanced.

The Majlis Course opened in 1988 and designed by Karl Litten. It is a PAR-72 championship 18-hole course at the length of 6500 meters. Specialty: Six lakes are obstacles for 9 holes, and are, of course, also a special scenic attraction.

The Wadi by Faldo course is Dubai´s second PAR-72 championship course and was opened already in 1996. Designed by Karl Litten & Jeremy Pern.

The Montgomerie

Established in October, opened in 2002, The Montgomerie is close to the Emirates Golf Club and was designed by Colin Montgomerie. This PAR-72 is the perfect combination of Arabian ambience and Scottish golf tradition. A fully equipped Golf Academy by Troon Golf is available both for beginners and the advanced.

Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club

By Karl Litten, the Par-72 championship course of the Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club was opened in January 1993 and is located on Dubai Creek just a few minutes away from most city hotels and about 25 minutes from the hotels on Jumeirah Beach. Dubai Creek Golf Academy with qualified Golf-pros for beginners and advanced.

Arabian Ranches Golf Club

The golf course of the Arabian Ranches Golf Club, designed by Ian Baker Finch and Nicklas, is located approximately 20 minutes from Jumeirah beach, at the Emirates Road. Golf Academy with qualified golf pros and a floodlight driving range. A GPS in every golf trolley enables perfect course management.

Al Badia Golf Resort

The Al Badia Golf Club at Four Seasons Festival City is located in Dubai Festival City with wonderful views of the skyline of Dubai. The 7250 yard, 18-hole, par 72 championship standard course has been designed by Robert Trent Jones II and was opened in February 2005.

Jebel Ali Golf

The Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa has a 9-hole par-36 course. This course offers more than you might expect due to different tees for each hole and nice scenery.

Hatta Fort
The Hatta Fort Hotel has a 9-hole Cross Country Golf Course and an 18-hole miniature golf course at the foot of the mountains.

Abu Dhabi Golf Club

The Abu Dhabi Golf Club offers two 18-hole PAR 72 couses, the National Golf Course and the easier Garden Course (2 x 9-hole), both designed by Peter Harradine.
