1st day: WEDNESDAY - AMMAN AIRPORT & AMMAN:

Arrival at Amman Airport   Meet at the gate by our friendly Airport staff who shall provide full assistance through immigration & customs. Transfer to hotel in Amman for dinner & overnight

2nd day: THURSDAY - CITY TOUR OF AMMAN & & DESERT CASTLES

Important buildings on the citadel hill are the Herculestemple, the Umayyadi palace complex with a monumental gate way as well as a Byzantine church. Visit of the archaeological museum in the citadel, where outstanding collection of Jordan antiquity from the time of early history in 15. Century is. Drive on to the Roman theatre. It is considered as probably the most important object of interest of the city, and is best received Monument of the Roman city of Philadelphia. Visit the folklore museum, where it is in a side tract at the Roman theatre. Here the life and the traditions of the Jordanian are reflected.

opinion to the desert castles in JordanienTrip through the old part of town and subsequent trip to some of the few admitted sights in eastern Jordan, to desert castles so called, they are built in the 8th Jhd. after Christ of the omayyadischen Kalifen originally as hunt huts. Visit of the most well-known and most interesting castles, Qasr Al-Kharrane and Qasr Amra (beautiful painting wound with alive scenes from the Omayyaden time). The  easternmost of all desert castle is Qasr Azraq. This black basalt fortress lies in the middle an oasis with many “pools” - the only constant water existence in 12.000 miles desert. In addition the oasis is a lay-by for hundreds of different kinds of bird. Return trip after Amman for dinners and overnight accomodation.

3rd day: FRIDAY - ALL DAY TRIP JERASH   & UMM QEIS

It is one of the singular Greek-Roman Dekapolis cities in Jordan.
opinion of Um QeisUm Qeis is on a dropping plateaus and nearly from sides steeply, highly over the river Yarmuk and the lake a Genezareth. On clear days the prospect is simply magnificent. Visit of the different historical epochs, like the Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine and the ottomanic. Visit of the theatre, the residential area, the Basilika terrace and the Nymphic fountain. 4th day: SATURDAY - ALL DAY TRIP OF JORDAN VALLEY & PELLA & DEAD SEA

Drive on to the dead sea at the Amman Beach. Relaxation at the beaches at the dead sea. Because of its situation as the deepest point on earth with 400 m under the sea level the weather is there around the whole year sunny and tropical. Time for a bath in the saltwater. Late afternoon return trip to Amman for dinners and overnight accomodation.

 

5th day: SUNDAY - AMMAN & MADABA & NEBO & KING WAY & WADI MUJJIB & KARAK & PETRA

view to Madaba in JordanienAfter the breakfast trip to Madaba, visit of the homeland of the Byzantine mosaics. The city accommodates the largest mosaic collection of the world. Many of the mosaics are still at their original place and usually older than 1400 years. Visit of the most famous roem. - byzan. Mosaic, the map of Palestine. This beautiful mosaic map is in the Greek-orthodox church pc. George. Not far far away from the Madaba the mountain Nebo rises. In Arabic one calls it Siyagha. view to the mountain Nebo in JordanienFrom the mountain Nebo there is a wonderful view over the slopes of the Jordan ditch up to the dead sea and opposite West Jordan territory. Visit of the Byzantine church of Siyagha. Drive on south through on a mountain comb running pictorial distance between Amman and Petra, the historical king route and through the Wadi Mujjib, the Grand Canyon Jordan, with the breath-taking views on rock, valleys and the homeland of the “black iris”, the Jordanian national flower, to Karak. Visit of the crusader castle from the 12.Jh. Drive on to Petra, the large Arab nation, more than 2000 years ago chiselt from the colourful sandstone rock. Dinner and overnight accomodation in Petra.

 6th day: MONDAY - ALL DAY ONE VISIT OF PETRA

As soon as you entered the ancient city Petra, you opened the gate into the past. Charm art in the building. Experience the miracle of Petra, where each “rose-pink stone” tells the dream of the Nabatäer.  Your Tourguides leads you through the architectural and mental miracles of this majestic place. Visit this intoxicating city by foot. Late afternoon back to the hotel in Petra for dinners and overnight accomodation.

7th day: TUESDAY - PETRA & WADI RUM & AMMAN

view to the Wadi Rum in JordanAfter the breakfast trip to the nature resort of Wadi Rum, a valley, which consists of desert and moon-similar landscape, therefore also called “valley of the moon”. Arrival at the village of Rum. Trip with the Beduinen jeeps to discover the breath-taking desert in company of native Beduinen, which drive you into its 4x4 jeep (06 persons in each jeep) to the large Mountain Al-khazali. Pursue the traces of the past, which are chiseled into the mountains and the fallen Rock block of Wadi Rum, additionaly  these traces are proof for activities of humans in the Wadi Rum before many thousand of years. Everywhere there are pictograms of the Thamudi, Nabatäi, Greek and Arab texts, in addition are some inscriptions and rock arts, which describe hunt scenes. Traces of the ancient civilizations exist in many of this stone-knocked inscriptions. In the afternoon drive through the desert streat to Amman for dinners and overnight accomodation.
