Baros is situated in the North Male Atoll only 16 km away from the airport. The island can be accessed by speedboat within 25 minutes.
On Baros Island you have the choice between elegance and individual Villas (24 Deluxe Villas, 20 Baros Villas, 30 Water Villas). 
All created from timber and sandstone, poised and peaceful over a translucent lagoon, or nestled discreetly among exotic blooms by the beach. Revel in romantic privacy; blissful seclusion where noise and others, exasperation and hassles, are a world away. The essence of the Maldives is defined at Baros.
Restaurants are Lime Restaurant, Cayenne grill, Lighthouse restaurant, all located on the beach, in the Mansion you´ll find the Sails bar and Lighthouse Lounge, (Dinner can be taken in the mansion or on the beach).
Divers Baros Maldives is one of the first dive centres of the Maldives. It opened in 1980. The base is run by the owner Sepp Zedelmayer who has over 30 years experience in diving in the Maldives and the base leader, Ronny van Dorp who has 10 years dive experience in the Maldives. With their combined experience and with their team of three dive instructors they assure a professional and highly skilled operation. The house reef at Baros benefits from an outstanding central location in the North Male’ Atoll, and is therefore very popular amongst divers and known as one of the best house reef in the Maldives. The easily accessible reef is not further away than 20 metres from the shore. The reef hosts the wreck of a traditional wooden boat at 18 meters depth. This wreck is home to different types of sharks, travelly, rays and groupers. Over 30 world class dive spots are in close range and offer a great variety of diving experiences, such as Manta diving, Wreck diving, Channel diving, Night diving and Thilla diving. The highlights are two Manta diving spots that offer year round a high chance of manta sight.
Activities: Snorkelling at the house reef (10-15m from the beach), Windsurfing, Catamaran, table tennis and Billards.
Trips and Excursions: snorkel trips, Sunset Cruises, island hopping, deep sea fishing and private trips.
Other facilities: the Aquum Spa (4 Spa Suites, fashion shop, various Spa applications).
The basic arrangement for 5 nights includes:
- 5 nights accomodation in a double room on indicated meal plan (halfboard beginning with the dinner on day of arrival and ending with the breakfast on departure day)
