Set in lush gardens along a beautiful long white sandy Beach, on the island’s northwest coast, Trou aux Biches Resort & Spa has become a romantic Hideaway for couples. After the renovation, focus has been made on Tropical Elegance, Comfort, Privacy and Luxury. All the beauties known from the past hotel have been indeed kept in the new concept. The Trou aux Biches Resort & Spa still caters wonderfully for families, Couples and Honeymooners.
After reopening on the 01.11.2010, the Trou aux Biches Resort & Spa will be considered as one of the most modern five Stars Hotel of the Island. The Individual Chalets and Suites of the Hotel will be spread over the Garden to create the ambience of a nice small Village. Enjoy the wonderful 2 Kilometer long Beach and tremendous Sunsets.
The International Main Restaurant L’Oasis found with view on the Beach and the Lagoon will cater for the Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. The Gastronomy Restaurant La Caravelle will serve a la Carte Menu and serves also Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. The Beach restaurant Le Deck open for Lunch and Dinner serves Menus. For 6 Evening in the week you will be able to enjoy all parts of the Mauritian Cuisine in the Italian Il Corallo Restaurant, in the Thai Restaurant Blue Ginger and also in the Indian Restaurant Mahiya.
The Half Board comprises the Breakfast and the Dinner in the Main Restaurant as well as evening Menus in the other Restaurants. For the A La Carte dinner, you will benefit from a credit from the Half Board.
The Main Bar Oasis has a nice view over the Swimming Pool and the Beach. International Cocktails will be served between 10h00 and 01h00. You will also be able to enjoy Tea, Coffee and pancakes between 15h30 and 17h00. At the Caravelle Bar you will be able to enjoy the Sunset while tasting a variety of Rum Cocktails, Cigars and Champagnes.
The Hotel offers a total of 333 Suites and Villas as follow: 90 Junior Suites, 65 Tropical Junior Suites, 45 Tropical Junior Suites Plus (with an extra Sofa Bed), 40 Family-Suites, 44 Beach Front Suites with own Pool, 22 Beach Front Senior Suites with Pool, 10 Villas with two bedrooms and 17 Villas with three bedrooms. The villas do offer also each a Private Pool. Each room has bathroom with Bath Tub, Shower, separate Toilet, Hair Dryer, Bath robes, TV, Telephone, Free of charge Internet Access W-LAN, Air Conditioning, Ventilator, Mini Bar, Tea-Coffee facilities, Safe and Balcony or Terrace.
The Trou aux Biches Resort & Spa offers activities such as 6 Tennis Courts with lights, a Fitness centre including Body Building, Spinning, 2 Hammams, Water Ski, Windsurfing, Sailing, Snorkeling, and Glass bottom Boat, Water Gymnastic, Table Tennis, Beach Volley Ball and Boccia. With a supplement you can rent bicycles, do a catamaran tour, Scuba Dive, Big Game fish have a Massage at the Spa or have some private tennis lessons.
The Bob Marlin Mini Club will take care of all children between 3 and 12 Years. A Baby sitter is also available on demand. Children can on request have their meals served at the Bob Marlin Restaurant. For Teenagers, the hotel does offer a Teens Club.
