The Intercontinental Muscat is located directly on a public beach, approx. 15 kilometers from the city center and only 21 km from the airport. It is an inexpensive luxury hotel situated in lush tropical gardens. We highly recommend it as a hotel for families.
The 265 rooms and Suites of the Muscat Intercontinental are comfortably furnished. They have internet access, mini bar, hair dryer, Safe and Bath/WC, air conditioning system, satellite TV, IDD telephone and highspeed/broadband. Club rooms offer the usual comfort and access to the Club Lounge.
The hotel has 2 swimmingpools, a direct entrance to the beach with many water sport facilities, a fitness center, 6 floodlight tennis courts, 2 air-conditioned Squash courts, sauna, steam bath, Jacuzzi, SPA.
Six restaurants offer everything from pastries on the go to romantic dinners at poolside. French-Polynesian, Italian, Mexican and British are among the cuisines offered for a culinary tour de force.
